History of Kappa Chapter (Inactive)

Kappa Chapter was formed on the campus of Logan College of Chiropractic on June 13, 1970. The Chapter was Initiated by representatives of the Grand Council of Alpha Chapter who traveled to Logan from Palmer. The founding Brothers of Kappa Chapter are pictured above from left to right and include: William Dewhirst, address unknown; James Schlaeger of St. Paul, MN; Thomas Hughes, Jr., deceased; Galen Graham of Colorado Springs, CO; R. James Gregg, of Garden City, MI; James Lehman, of Albuquerque, NM; Joseph Huck, of Potosi, MO; Mark Ruskell, address unknown; Robert Monit, of Beaver, PA; and Bryan Zins of Minneapolis, MN.

Delta Sigma Chi was the first Fraternity on campus at Logan and the good group of young men who had been Initiated into Kappa Chapter quickly became seen as one of the assets of Logan College. They contributed their services with willingness and capability on many occasions, both when essential and requested, as well as on voluntary projects of their own.
